Ram Gopal Verma Biography

Ram Gopal Varma is a Bollywood director, producer and screenwriter. He makes Telugu as well as Hindi films. He is famous for his psychological thrillers and films related to the underworld.

Early Life

Ram Gopal Varma Penmetsa was born on 7th April 1962 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. His parents are Krishnam Raju Penmetsa and Satyavathi. Ramu had a strained relationship with his father, because he was disinterested in studies and would bunk school.

He completed his graduation in Civil Engineering from V.R.Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada. During his engineering days Varma would skip classes and go to watch films. He was a huge film buff would watch eight to ten films a week.

After completing his graduation, Varma wanted to enter the film industry, but wasn’t lucky. He gave up hopes and decided to go to Nigeria to earn money. However, as destiny would have it, Varma visited a video rental library in Hyderabad. He was so passionate about cinema that he decided to open his own video rental library.

Career

As a Director

1988- 2000

Started his career in the Telugu film industry before entering Bollywood. Varma’s father was a sound recordists at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. The Annapurna Studios is owned by Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Varma would keep lingering around the sets of the films RAOGARILLU (1988) and COLLECTOR GARI ABBA (1987), for which he was the first assistant director.

During this time Varma met Akkineni Nagarjuna, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Varma narrated a scene to Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna was so impressed that he asked Varma to make the Telugu film SHIVA (1989). The debut film, SHIVA (1989) revolved around student politics and crime. The film was a success. The film was dubbed in Hindi in 1990 and marked Ram Gopal Varma’s Bollywood debut. SHIVA (1990) was also the Bollywood debut of Nagarjuna. His other Telugu films were KSHANA KSHANAM (1991), ANTAM (1992), RATHRI (1992), GAAYAM (1993), GOVINDHA GOVINDHA (1993), DEYYAM (1996), ANAGANAGA OKA ROJU (1997) and PREM KATHA (1999).
Ram Gopal Varma’s second Bollywood film was RAAT (1992). RAAT (1992) was a horror film starring Revathi in the lead role of Manisha, nicknamed Mini. Manisha is a collegian and her family relocates to a house that is known to be haunted. Many supernatural incidents take place: a dead cat returns to life, Manisha’s friend is killed; an attempt is made to kill her father and friend Deepak. The thriller, shocking in parts, was successful at the box office.

Kinston 1 GB DDR 2 RAM

Kinston 1 GB DDR 2 RAM cheap and twice as efficient as the DDR 1 RAM. Gone are the days of DDR 1 RAM, DDR 2 is here which is cheaper and faster than the DDR 1 RAM. The price is half of what the DDR 1 RAM cost but the speed is just doubled. I think this is the only hardware peripheral were we are getting better quality product for a cheaper price.

My machine was giving quite some problem, it would hang up pretty much and I went to the nearby service centre to show my problem. After seeing my problem he recommended me to upgrade my RAM memory as it was just very low (256 MB only). After thinking for a while I thought of changing it and asked him for a Seagate 1 GB DDR 1 RAM as I didn’t know about the DDR 2 RAM then. The store owner being a friend of fine advice me against going for Seagate RAM and suggested me a Kinston RAM and since I had an M.S.I motherboard he also told me to go for the DDR 2 RAM which was cheaper and much better than DDR 1 RAM. I did as I was told and paid him for the Kinston DDR 2 RAM and he upgraded it himself for me.

I came back home after upgrading the RAM and was happy to see my machine working faster and better. The hanging problem was all over and the processing was lighting fast now. It’s been quite some time since I have been using the Kinston DDR 2 RAM and I am just very satisfied with the efficient service the RAM provides. It’s fast ,cheap and just the best solution for small time users like myself.

The most vital rule in hard drive recovery is not to write anything more to the affected hard drive. It is also important that if you have deleted a partition by accident, creating another partition is not advisable. So, in hard drive recovery, it is better to just leave it blank. When the deletion of files occur in the recycling bin that you later on recognize you need, it is best not to save anything to the drive because the hard drive does not actually erase data or partition. When you erase a file from the operating system, it is just labeled on the drive as having been deleted. And, you save more files on the drive; the system will consider the files as being empty space and gladly copy over them. How to Avoid Hard Drive Overheating

Even though the hard drive stores data, it isn?t perfect by any means. Hard drive failure is very common with all computers, with no real way to prevent it. Although there are several different reasons why a hard drive can fail, the most common is overheating. Viruses and crashes are common as well, along with theft and accidental deletion.

With the older style and mechanics of hard drives, the RPM speed was low, meaning that the drives wouldn’t overheat. The hard drives we use now days, have speeds between 7,200 and 10,000 RPM, meaning that they can get quite hot when they start working. Computers of this day and age come with fans to cool everything down, with most hard drives including temperature sensors as well, so you can keep track of just how hot your hard drive becomes.

With hard drives today, overheating is a very common problem. The faster hard drives come with speeds of 10,000 RPM, which can make the temperature soar above 70 degrees F, really heating things up inside the drive. The mechanics on the inside are built to withstand the heat, although if things become too hot, you?ll encounter problems. If a drive becomes too hot and ends up losing the data, it may be next to impossible to retrieve the information – no matter how good your data recovery specialists may be.

One area that suffers from the drive overheating is the platters, which are magnetic media. Platters are what carry the data throughout the hard drive. Platters are constructed from optical glass, aluminum, or ceramic and normally coated with a layer of magnetic material. Once the hard drive begins to heat up, the platters will start to expand, which changes their size. When this happens, the magnetic surface on the platters will get destroyed, which results in a loss of data. If the physical area of the platters are damaged, it will result in unreadable sectors.

Other areas of the hard drive that can be damaged due to overheating are the read and write heads, head actuator, and the controller chip. Hard drives are very sophisticated pieces of hardware, and can?t handle overheating. The read and write heads are a common example, as they can easily render the drive useless if they become damaged.  

To prevent your hard drive from overheating, you should always make sure that it is cooled properly and well ventilated. You can always get additional fans and coolers, which will improve both ventilation and the flow of air in your computer. You can buy fans and coolers at very affordable prices, which makes them an ideal investment for keeping your hard drive or hard drives cool.

You can also get software that monitors the temperature of your hard drive as well. Whether it?s software, or additional fans, you should always ensure that your hard drives are kept cool. By keeping them cool, you?ll greatly reduce the amount of crashes. You?ll also increase the stability of your hard drive as well, which will make your entire computer perform much better.

A motherboard is one of the most essential pieces of equipment needed for a computer to function. Motherboards are the central hubs through which every piece of hardware communicates. Components such as graphics cards, memory sticks, hard drives, and CPUs (short for central processing unit) all require the motherboard as a base of operations and would all be useless without one.

One main feature to look at when considering a motherboard is its bus speed. There are many different types of buses including the front side bus, back side bus, PCI bus, and memory bus. The front side bus is usually considered the most important as it connects the CPU to all the other components of the computer. The front side bus can range anywhere from 66 MHz to over 800 MHz–the higher the bus speed of a motherboard the faster the computer can transfer information between its multitude of parts.

Higher bus speeds thus equate to more powerful computers and faster processing. It is important to note that having high bus speeds in a motherboard will not make up for slow a slow CPU, they will only allow the computer to run as efficiently as possible given its network of elements.

Memory slots are another vital part of motherboards. The more memory, or RAM (short for random-access memory) a computer has, the higher the amount of information that can be processed at a single time. It is therefore desirable to have at least two or three memory slots in a motherboard to upgrade RAM as the user deems necessary. It is also important to note that there are different types of memory sticks such as SDRAM and DDR SDRAM. The physical composition of these types differ greatly and must be matched to the type of RAM the motherboard supports otherwise they will not fit into the memory slots.

PCI (short for peripheral component interconnect) slots and AGP (short for accelerated graphics port) slots are another major component of motherboards.

PCI slots allow a user to connect peripherals such as sound cards, network cards, and modems. AGP slots allow a user to connect graphics cards for higher image handling capability. If a user knows he or she will need many peripheral devices or will require higher video function, then it is important for that user to pick out a motherboard that will both support the necessary peripherals as well as keep them functioning at optimum levels.

Cooling motherboards and its components, especially the CPU, is also vital to a computer’s peak performance and sustainability.
